Well that is ridiculous.
I think they changed it. Pao Pao should be clear to play because she was checking in.Lol Pao Pao just got ejected for being nearby. She was at the scorer’s table waiting to check in when it blew up around her.
South Caroline needs to send the clip of Morrow’s punch to the SEC/NCAA. And it’s ridiculous that FJ only got the initial foul, not the shove. All the players for both teams that were on the floor playing get to stay. Pao Pao was at scorers table, so she and another SC player stay in. LSU only has 5 players for remainder of game. No additional game penalty for those that came off the bench.
And, IMHO, Cardoso should get more than 1 game suspension. The whole thing was just stupid, and every coach will use the tape to show players what's at stake.

I wouldn't count on that.Another thought ... the NCAAT referees are not going to tolerate anything from either of these two teams.
Angel, Morrow, and Flau'jae were all responsible for the way this game played out. Should this continue, LSU won't last long in the NCAAs. Outside of the SEC, their act will not be tolerated.Morrow still got away with a punch in the melee, and she’s the player most responsible for the tone of this game.
Flau'jae should've been tossed along with Kamilla. Her inability to keep her emotions in check incited that fracas.South Caroline needs to send the clip of Morrow’s punch to the SEC/NCAA. And it’s ridiculous that FJ only got the initial foul, not the shove.
Angel Reese and FJ (until the two frustration fouls) were just committing John Stockton-type annoying fouls. I even think the F1 on Reese was a bit of bad luck and would have been fine against normal sized posts. Yeah, they knew what they were doing, but to the extent anyone thinks it was “dirty” play, it was dirty play within the acceptable and expected range.Angel, Morrow, and Flau'jae were all responsible for the way this game played out. She did, and as I said earlier, this is not a good look for her. This has become a major part of her brand, and she'd better get that cleaned up if she wants to reach her potential in the WNBA.Didn’t Cardoso have a similar shove when she was playing for Brazil recently?
I'm disappointed in Kamilla, too. However, I'm even more disappointed in Angel, Aneesah, and Flau'jae for the role they play(ed) in this senselessness. They know what kind of stigma is placed on players who look like them, yet they feed right into the stereotypes with their nonsense. It's not a good look, but it doesn't appear that they care. Both teams wear their emotions on their sleeves and need to learn to fuel it into game performance. I'm ok with some competitive jawing but I was very disappointed that Cardoso let it get to her. With that said, the refs let it get out of hand and I was also very disappointed by the behavior on both teams at times.
I agree re Morrow, but Angel pulled Kamilla's hair and elbowed her in the face--all in the first half. She never should've been around to play in the second half.Angel Reese and FJ (until the two frustration fouls) were just committing John Stockton-type annoying fouls. Morrow was a menace all day. It was ridiculous that the announcing crew celebrated her elbow that would have sent someone to the hospital had she connected, and she had several lesser but also potentially injurious plays, including an elbow to Kitts away from the ball in the 1st Q. Even her kind of shove from behind in the final seconds was ridiculous given the score and situation.

The more and more we see from these LSU players (those three and you can toss Hailey Van Lith in there as well), the more I'm gutted for Aliyah. She deserved a second natty. Angel didn't deserve it.
Okay, then.
Well it was Caitlin and company that deprived them of the opportunity, not LSU.The more and more we see from these LSU players (those three and you can toss Hailey Van Lith in there as well), the more I'm gutted for Aliyah. She deserved a second natty. Angel didn't deserve it.
