Fla with almost an epic collapse
Missed 5 of 8 free throws late

Bama missed a wide open 3 to win and had a shot in the paintbblocked that would’ve sent it to OT

Tenn may still have shot at top 16

BTW Sunday’s KY score at SCar is not indicative of how hard fought that game was. They were solidly in it with 5 minutes remaining

If you turned off Carolina-Vandy in the frist half... and I wouldn't blame you because I did for a while too... note that it's SC 68 VU 63 with 4 min left.

And then Chloe Kitts took over to take it back up to a 21 point SCar victory. Kitts was the games leading scorer with 24 points
Heck of a game by Kitts. She has started to live up to the high school hype, and that's not an easy thing to do. I'm struck by how much stronger she is this year. Obviously put a lot of work in during the off season.

Hoping Vandy isn’t the 7 seed in UConns bracket
I wouldn’t give up on 8/9 seeds being much more relevant to UConn interests.

I’d think you want Texas to lose before the SEC CG, South Carolina to either win the tournament or lose in the semis, and an early loss by UCLA and/or Southern Cal.

You should be ahead of Notre Dame regardless.

Her commitment to strength training has been talked alot this season. Heck she even lifts on game day as it helps her to maintain her muscle strength. That's not something most players will do.

But Notre Dame has the head to head and SOS and maybe the Quad record advantage?

My head hurts

Beers is only averaging 22 minutes per game this season? Has she been injured? Because that’s crazy to me

No--nothing's wrong. She looks like she's in pretty good shape. I don't think true college bigs on good teams have to play more than 25 mpg tops. She'd play about 22-25 minutes if she played at South Carolina.

After seeing her dad, I can see where she gets her size from.

Soooo happy for Chloe! Like a lot of games today, I only saw the box scores and a few highlights. This South Carolina/Vandy game will be my first game to watch later today. But great game, Chloe! South Carolina is the most dangerous team out there. If they flip that switch! It is game over.

Fudd was out and injuries are supposed to be taken into account. Plus, UConn has a better overall resume and metrics, and head-to-head is supposed to be taken into account when everything else is equal

*If rules are different for the women’s committee than the men’s, some of this may be inaccurate

The more I see of Oldacre, the more I am amazed Carolina never offered. Add her to South Carolina’s roster and this team may be undefeated again.

But likely still has one loss to UConn, because that shooting display was incredible.

Ole Miss coach is very open about modeling her program after Dawn Staley, but I feel like she has not noticed the shift to emphasize shooting and they’ll continue to scare teams but fall short in the postseason until she does.

That alley oop by Olle Miss at the end was obviously drawn up by Hillman. Same play (the napkin play) Syracuse ran. Thienou almost made it. She's going to be very good.

Blakes/Strong would be a great storyline too as they battle for NFOY. Almost like the Clark/Bueckers freshman storyline that resulted in a Sweet 16 matchup from 2021.
Sarah Strong is clearly the better ballplayer, but my vote would go the player with the larger impact. UConn was going to be a very good team with or without Ms Strong. Ms Blakes arrival at Vanderbilt has made the Commodores contender in the SEC and in the Big Dance with an eye toward an ever improving run in the next three seasons.
Which is not to say that Ms Stong has not been impactful. Bird-Magic? It went to Bird for the very reason being argued here.
