Whoever among us wants into the ACC needs to hope the SEC poaches from the ACC.

Yes. He was the commissioner of the B-8 when it ended and went on his own as a (highly compensated) consultant for schools looking to improve their football pograms, which led to the side business of managing coaching searches.

I'm pretty sure he was heavily involved in the revenue projections for the ACC in their 2003 raid of the BE.

I'm fairly sure Texas A&M pledged its allegiance to the Big 12 just a year ago. Things change.....

I believe they were never accepted for membership by the SEC.

To me the fact that Texas A&M was cleared to join tells me Mizzou is staying put for now. The legal threads vanished abruptly overnight so I'd be shocked. Here's to hoping they poach VTech out of the ACC for #14.
