Well 4th is pretty high. Maybe 5th but I dont see it. Maybe they will be in our bracket in the NCAAs if they dont get a one seed in the WNIT.

I definitely agree, Coler! If the highly-ranked freshman class for A & M pan out, I wouldn't be surprised if they win the SEC.

Agreed. I'm not completely sold on Kentucky. They seemed to struggle against teams they couldn't turnover.

Kentucky made a believer out of me last season as they did give UCONN a battle for a half and thats more than some other highly ranked teams we played did??

They may have many areas to improve upon but I can see them doing it. All those guards are juniors now and Bria Goss is a sophomore! Walker will be there for the whole season and lets not forget that they add Stallworth (6'3 athletic post). I think this COULD be the year that they could move past the elite 8. Season will tell but its a likely possibility.

TAMU has all those guards (if they work out) to go along with Gilbert and Bone in the post so I would put them at either 2/3 with Vanderbilt occupying the other.
Vandy returns their starting line up and I think Balcomb does a descent job there. They are usually always ranked in the top 25 and make the NCAA tournament. Thats not too shabby (hard to argue that with a UCONN fan but its true).
Tennessee @ 4th is about right.

I just dont get why the last 2 seasons Georgia is always ranked high only to fall off mid to end season.

It's never where you start but how you finish and I find them #5 down.....

GO UCONN!

I don't get all the hype about Georgia? I'd take Texas A&M over Georgia for #2 in SEC.

Georgia returns 7 of their top 8 from a team that finished 3rd in the SEC last year.

This could be why so many have Georgia rated so high! I still think TAMU is the team to watch. I feel like the rest of the SEC is overlooking them! The Big 12 has them battle tested iMO.

One thing that will be interesting to watch with TAMU is how they fare without Vic Schaeffer. He was essentially the defensive coordinator for their squad and absolutely a huge part of their success.

There are some good teams should make for a good SEC race.
