SEC 25-26

Sort of poetic how the SEC season turned out amongst the top 3 teams:
South Carolina: Regular Season Champs
Texas: Tournament Champs
Vanderbilt: Swept all of the individual awards

Congrats to Texas on a monster win in Greenville. 3-1 record on the year now over UCLA/South Carolina

Just ambushed us at the jump and were the better team rest of the way. Might just be the tougher, stronger team.

Congrats Texas.
One of Dawn’s in game Achilles heels is she tries to let her team play through situations where she should call a timeout. Sometimes it works, but against a true peer, it’s just as likely to snowball to an unmanageable deficit, as it did today.

No basketball team should ever be in a 14-0 hole without using a timeout.

The sign of a balanced league--at least at the top!

Now, do we see all three teams in the Final Four? Hope so.

I was not expecting Texas to be this dominant against South Carolina. Despite this loss, they’re still a 1 seed. Question is whether it’s the overall 3 or 4.

Should be a 4. Texas has the same record, better wins, went 2-1 head to head and are the hotter team entering the tournament.

NGL, before the game, I said to hubby, I think Texas is gonna win this one, but knowing Vic, they'll freak out and give it away at the last second. So, I was kinda, sorta, half right?

What are some game examples of that having happened in the past? I don't recall that happening, NGL

4 SEC teams (Texas, Kentucky, Alabama and Tennessee) in one Fort Worth regional seems like a committee failure. Other regionals where SEC teams landed:

Sacramento II: South Carolina, Oklahoma, Georgia

Sacramento I: LSU, Ole Miss

Fort Worth I: Vanderbilt
