SEC 25-26

I have no idea how they will reschedule this game as Tennessee is fully booked with games until 3/1 but it will most definitely have to get rescheduled as it will have ramifications on the seeding for the SECT

ESPN has it being postponed to today but I haven't seen an article stating as much or giving more details (game time, etc )

Anyone know what's up with Clara Strack? She's normally a great player but her last three games she's shot:
3-13 vs Georgia
2-7 vs Tennessee
3-16 vs Mississippi State

Plus a 1-13 game vs Alabama a couple weeks ago.

Just bizarre numbers for one of the better offensive posts in the country.

Been wondering the same thing. It also seems to coincide with when Key suffered her injury. Very perplexing.

I think Key's injury is part of it but I personally am not a fan of how Kentucky coaches their bigs. They're too finesse and when they are met with physical defense, their strategy tends to fold, leading to too many fadeaway jumpers. I haven't watched any of the above games but I feel like that has been a trend with their bigs every since I started paying attention at VA Tech with Kitley.

Crump being back is a game changer for Texas. Gives them upgraded depth on the wing and scoring prowess which could be a difference maker in close games.

She tweaked her back a couple of weeks ago.

My gut tells me it'll be a woman's sport because they never make examples out of the men's sports. 🙄

My bet is either women's basketball or gymnastics.
LSU men’s basketball actually has gotten in trouble multiple times (see former coach fired)

I did some digging and allegedly this is about LSUs baseball program and a player not fully reporting all NIL income as per guidelines. And many other schools have gotten this letter recently about not fully reporting earnings in NIL

I don't think it's WBB or gymnastics.

LSU baseball makes sense

Just make all NIL recipients turn in their tax returns with the NIL reports. If they “fail to report NIL” to the IRS, they have bigger problems than the College sports z commission

Are we going to gloss over the fact that Alabama just lost to Texas A&M?

Man, Vic's presser was on fire.

I did not see the game, but that seemed over the top. "Softest team he's ever coached?"

He has more credibility than Caldwell, but seemed maybe a little worse really.

Vandy now with an excellent chance to get at least a share of the title if not more.

Unlike Caldwell, after TN played punching bag for Dawn & Co., Vic took responsibility for the beating. She just threw her kids under the bus.

Well, suggesting your team “has no heart and isn’t tough enough” while also lamenting 100’s of thousands in NIL payments isn’t completely taking responsibility.

Listen from about three minutes on. He clearly says it's his fault that they played as they did. He also distinguishes between the starters and whoever he put in for the second half.

I am not a fan of Mr. Shaefer, but his comments seem reasonable given the way Tx. played.

Well, it’s something Geno might have done several years ago. But Geno has learned and it’s my preference as well that any harsh comments about the team be reserved for the locker room and practice.

i don't think he took personable responsibility for it in a meaningful way. Clearly, it wasn't Vic Schaefer's tactics or preparation of effort that was in question. It was the players not caring and having as much heart as Vic Schaefer.

I will say I do not think it's out of bounds for a coach to do this but let's not pretend that the coach putting a perfunctory "but it's my fault because I'm the coach" on top of it removes the finger pointing.

I think it probably was the players fault and I think it's ok for the coach to to say it. maybe that will work and maybe it won't. Kind of depends on team.

But I really doubt that he has the softest team he's ever coached or a soft team in any respect. I doubt he thinks that or it's his message after next game. Then it will be all the sweetness about how Harmon's the greatest player in history of Texas again.
