...put a hurtin' on the Sun's playoff chances. Now CT has to go to MSG to face a PO'd Liberty Friday.

Not mathematically eliminated at this point so I expect to see them battle, but it'll be a tough row to hoe.

GO SUN!!

Seattle ran the Liberty off the floor and even beat them on the boards, shockingly. Washington hit from the arc over and over and over, and Elena sat most of the game with an injured thumb. Seattle could be a tough out in the playoffs.

Tina Charles' putting her hand over the TV camera after the game and pushing the cameraman out of the Liberty scrum showed that at least she was not dogging it last night. She wasn't giving Seattle an easy win. And the few words that SNY caught from Tina berating her teammates after the game shows that no one is going to get away with humiliating her team over the last four games. She was royally ticked off!

Seattle has actually played very well since the break - going 4-2 with four of those games on the road. And the Chicago loss was down to the wire by 4 pts. and the MN loss by 12 at MN was not bad either. The biggest improvement I think has been the rebounding commitment by players other than Stewart, and the better play from Tosh, and Langhorne and the bench.

Washington is battling Seattle and Phx for the last spot in the playoffs. Seattle and Phx are tied and 1 game ahead of Washington. Should be an interesting sprint to the finish...

It is actually the last two places they are battling for - Phoenix and Seattle are tied for the 7th best record.
