10-2 WAS out of the gate

Birthday girl Atkins with 5 pts.

Wow, Washington up 12-2. Powers, Atkins are not missing anything

50-32 WAS end of half
It’s going to take quite an effort from SEA to come back in this one.

89-71 final. Okay, I'm officially a bit worried about Natasha Howard's production. Not surprising she's not scoring like last year, but at this point she seems to be well below her level of play in 2018. The return of Stewie shouldn't have knocked her backwards like that.

They kept saying she is not at full conditioning. Did she have some obstacle she was dealing with?

I dumped the subscription to the Seattle Times a while ago, so I didn't see any articles about the Storm leading into the start up of the season. But I wasn't aware of any injury or other obstacle.

Just like last year, the Mystics have 3 point shooters up & down their roster. Like I mentioned in another thread they look pretty good even without Charles and Delle Donne. Hines-Allen has really improved her game and it may not even so be much of her improving; it’s probably just a matter of not having playing time last year. —it’s surprising to see them flourishing this much without Toliver who went back to LA, Natasha Cloud who sat out, Charles and Delle Donne. However, not that surprising because Atkins, Powers, and Meeseman together is a good place to start.

Is there any doubt Thibault is the best coach/GM in the WNBA?

They run very good offense (helps to have a true elite passer in the post from Meeseman) and so many of their 3 point shots were open but they also have confident shooters from 3pt. But perhaps the best part of Thibault is how he see's hidden talent (late first round / 2nd round picks) when others dont and the player development that they seem to do.
