SEA sure lives by that three.

The 3 was the only thing keeping Minnesota in the game earlier. Storm weren't hitting theirs but were getting buckets in the paint. When the 3's evened out it turned into a blowout.

For the game Seattle 11-26 and Minnesota 12-26. So, what was that you were saying?

Minnesota ended up taking them to try to get back into the game. They hesitated on a lot of open looks in the first half. Seattle was taking them because that’s what they do.

It looked to my eyes like they were trading 3's much of the 2nd half. Did you see the first half when Seattle was getting layup after layup? I just didn't see Seattle being dependent on 3's like you did.

I missed some of the start of the game watching the Dallas OT.

I checked out the cumulative team stats, and it turns out SEA and MIN are pretty close in three point shot attempts. Three of the worst teams lead the league in attempts, maybe to try to get back into games?

Anyway, sorry you were so offended by a fairly innocuous comment. It just seemed the SEA threes tonight thwarted any comeback attempt.

Interesting stats. Most teams are fairly close. The statistical outlier is the Aces, who hardly take any 3's.

I haven't watched every Seattle game. It seems to me what really fuels them is getting TOs and fast break points, much more than shooting 3's.

Seattle and its UConn players were better than Minnesota and its Huskies tonight.

Crystal had 13 on 6-11 shooting and kept up in the ROY performance. She's 10th in the LEAGUE in scoring, just ahead of Phee.

They had very active hands on defense tonight. Lots of steals!

Well, it was 19 years experience against one. ;) As said above, the Lynx Huskies should expect to be schooled.

Well, the party is over. Got to crack the whip.

“We just didn’t do our schemes, what the game plan was,’’ Napheesa Collier said. “We pretty much ignored it as a team. So I know Coach is pretty frustrated with that.’’

Reeve seemed so, in postgame comments that lasted just 76 seconds. But she made her point. Days off between games will end.

“We’ll start practicing on our off days,’’ she said. “Because without defense, we’re going nowhere. Like, nowhere. One hundred and three points! I mean it’s a really good basketball team over there, but this was embarrassing today.’’

The Lynx need to beat Las Vegas, and win the rest of their games. Phoenix plays Connecticut twice and finishes with Seattle. If they win out and Minnesota loses to Las Vegas, Phoenix gets the bye.
