Biggest questions for me at the beginning of the finals:

1. How will McBride shoot from 3? Vegas needs offense from her to contend.
2. How effective will Clark be at defending postseason Angel? This will be a huge factor.
3. Which Jackie Young/Natasha Howard shows up. Both have been polarizing at times this year.

To me, Seattle has looked better this postseason. Stewart takes away the Wilson advantage, and the rest of Seattle outplays the rest of the Aces. Storm in 4.

So you have the highest scoring average in finals games (McCoughtry at about 31 ppg) vs. the highest scoring average in all playoff games (Stewie at around 24 ppg). Amazing that Angel has never won a single game in a finals series. That might change today based on the way this one has started.

After falling behind 8-0, Storm up 23-21 thru Q1. 7-0 advantage for LV in 2nd chance points. Quit giving up O boards and the Storm got this.

Only 3 players have scored for Seattle--Stewie and Prince w/ 8 (?!) and Loyd w/ 7. Bird has 6 assists.

Aces 4-6 behind the arc after they couldn't hit anything against the Sun, and McBride and J. Young both looking much better than they did in the previous series. Wilson has been bottled up so far w/ 3 points on 1-6 shooting. 4 stinking O boards for Swords.

Come on. The team that doesn't shoot 3's is 7-10 halfway thru Q2. Minnesota was red hot behind the arc all during that series, now LV is too. I thought the Storm was a really good defensive team, but somehow everybody shoots lights out against them.

Angel is absurdly hot from 3. (4-4). Not sure why Clark is not taking those open 3's she is getting?

The Aces missing duo of McBride and Young have combined for 14 so far.

Holy cow, Storm have sprinted to an 11 point lead. They've started both quarters horribly and then seized control as it went along. 3 players in double figures and Bird in double figures in assists.

Overall FG% Storm 63 Aces 28. Those 3's make a huge difference. Starting to even up a little bit though--Seattle 4-8 Las Vegas 7-12.

Sue with 10 assists in first half. May break the record set by sloot. Not bad for Sue who leads the league in Jersey sales.

Battle of MVP candidates is non-existent, it's ALL Stewie. Loyd has been awesome too. They are a combined 13-18 from the floor and 29 points.

57-40 Seattle at the half. Wilson finally woke up, but so did Howard. Stewie and Loyd are ballin'!

Vegas was scoring when they could get O boards. Once Seattle started getting rebounds and deflections, they were like piranhas on a roast!
