34-20 DAL end of first

Diggins-Smith 14 pts, 1 reb, 3 ast, 1 stl

Diggins-Smith making a push for MVP, Cambage very strong on inside; Dallas will be a dangerous team when Glory Johnson returns. Seattle looking uninspired on both ends of the floor.

53-36 DAL end of half

Diggins-Smith 20 pts, 3 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl

Stewart 12 pts, 2 reb, 2 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk

Storm made a great run tying it up in 4th Q but Cambage just went nuts and bulled Dallas to a win even with some last minute heroics from Stewie

Stewie had 28/7/4/2/2.

Jordin Canada had 9 assists and 5 steals in place of Sue, who took a bad shot to the neck in the prior game.

I think Sky would be behind her old teammate Jewell in the voting.

The Storm made a game of it in the second half. They might even have won if they had managed to get a few more offensive rebounds, but it appeared that they pretty much conceded the offensive glass. If they missed a shot, it seemed like there were three or four Wings fighting each other for the rebound. I don't know if they expected to make every shot, or they all ran back on defense as soon as a shot went up. I was shouting at the TV, but apparently Seattle couldn't hear me.

I'm trying to understand the +/- score in the box. How can Stewie have a -4 with numbers she posted and team mate Clark a +6 who's numbers are no where near as impressive? Am I trying to make sense of a nonsense scoring tool?
I've been looking at these numbers for quite some time now and can't seem to grasp the info it provides.

Please help!!

The +/- is the point difference while a player is in the game. While Clark was in the game, Seattle outscored Dallas by 6 points. While Stewie was in, Dallas outscored Seattle by 4. Not sure that it's always a good indicator of a player's effectiveness.

Thank you. I was totally out in left field with what I thought it meant.
