No box score on ESPN yet. Some observations:

Jewell's jumper was working, including from the arc. I think she had 26 or so.

Langhorne shot 8-8, including one from the arc.

Stewie didn't look as aggressive as in other games, but she had a key tip-in late.

Morgan was on the floor in crunch time and played well. She scored at last 7, including an and-1 over Kaleena.

K didn't take many shots, but her stroke was absent.

Birdie was dropping dimes very nicely.

Kelsey Bone missed at least 4 shots from point blank range and shot a poor percentage.

Chiney looked rusty and showed no shooting range.

Little shot the ball well, and Jasmine hit a number of jumpers.

On another note, imagine if these five Sun players forged a single college team:

Chiney Ogwumike
Morgan Tuck
Kelly Faris
Alyssa Thomas
Rachel Banham or Kelsey Bone as #6.

That's a NICE WCBB squad there.

Thanks for the box score. The Sun starting front court shot 8-28. Morgan had 10 points, which may be a career high. Stewie seemed to defer on offense and didn't crash the boards, but did get 3 blocks, all of which elicited crowd reaction. I like Jewell's spot-up shot and also her step-back. She sometimes forces high-degree-of-difficulty shots (like Angel, Shoni, et al.), but didn't last night. She's deadly from the FT line. The Storm had some horrible possessions in the second quarter that resulted in TOs off of weak passes or shot clock violations and can be scoring challenged, but they were on fire last night.

Box score now:

Connecticut Sun vs. Seattle Storm - Box Score - May 28, 2016 - ESPN

Balanced, Uzconn-esque offense by the Storm!
That box score is a mess! Try the WNBA site:
05/28/16: Connecticut Sun @ Seattle Storm - WNBA.com - Official Site of the WNBA

The ESPN has not had box scores or accurate box scores a number of times this year during and after games - the WNBA site seems to at least get that right.

I thought a perfect example of what I think Stewart needs to start doing more of was a drive in the second half where she went through the lane and hit a lovely little 10' bank shot while being fouled. She could be doing that 5 times a game with good results.

No wonder the Sun lost. Morgan, JJ and Kelly taking on Seattle by themselves.
Check out this ESPN box score:

Anyone who has been to that venue.... what is the "symbol" within the 3 point area... a tree? a bird? a ???? Looked at it several times when shown and could not make much of it.

I was wondering the same thing. I surmise it is the Storm logo, but so far I'm not seeing a meaningful construction.

If you find out, let me know.:D

It's a different logo than the one at midcourt that includes the Space Needle, but it's a stylized "S" in the team colors.

It's the pattern is the wood coloring within the 3-point arc that we're thinking of.

How many Storms actually hit Seattle ?
Not hurricanes, but lots of winter storms coming off the Pacific or down from Canada. My son was there for work several years ago when they had the dreaded horizontal rain, winds at 40 mph, and temps of 38 degrees.

The oddly shaped darker spots?

Maybe the floor was installed by the same crew who had to redo my floor because of the poor color pattern. ;)

There's a pattern in the wood?? Like the bricks in Indy?
More like the trees at Oregon, only more subdued. A bigger picture kind of picture. Was there something like that at Nashville? (a guitar?)

Yeah, I think there was a guitar on the floor in Nashville.

I thought it was a stylized storm symbol. Kind of like the one they show for hurricanes.

I think you're right.
