That's it! Done! The scholarships loss from Nate Miles (a few phone calls about 8 years ago) and the APR (caused by an underachieving bunch about six seasons ago) tried to cripple a great program. No such luck. A National Championship and a gutsy season by a undermanned program pretty much shoved it up the NCAAs "backdoor".
Likewise to the two quitters who cut and ran last spring (AO & RS). You ran scared, you quit on your boys.
Now maybe this program can get back to a full allotment of scholarships. Hope few people watch the BE & NCAA tourneies. Who cares! And maybe now the NCAA can have some time to look at UNC & Kentucky. Everything above board there I'm sure. Great students too.
Bottom line: Jim Calhoun & Kevin Ollie out hustle and out heart the NCAA.
