I have never been to Scotland; it's on my bucket list for sure. I just watched a PBS Rick Steves special on the Islands of Scotland. The special covered Skye, Orkney, Mull, Iona and Staffa. It makes me want to book the trip asap. Have a great time!
Iona is the main reason we went to Mull. It is a long drive across Mull to the ferry, but if you like history, in particular related to Christian/Catholic events, it's really an interesting place. Saw the book of Kells in Dublin a year ago, but it was (most likely) created on Iona.

Yes, part of the show was talking about the book of Kells. It was just a fascinating show to watch since I'm interested in going there.

Haggis with 'neeps and tatties (turnips and potatoes) are a must try... You may lime them, or not. I for one, cannot eat enough of them when I am there,
