We've all struggled.60-50.
I've really sucked at this lately.
Watching it this morning Ireally didn't think it looked all that awful. Not good but not what some were describing.UCONN seems to be struggling and pressing on offense, but after watching the game on TV last night, it looked much better than it did in person. i think RU's defense is superior, but i still think UCONN has trouble scoring inside, even against a much smaller SJU team. i think the team is very aware that they lost on senior day at home to this same team. i think they press early and it's close but eventually we pull away as our defense turns into offense.
UCONN 68
SJU 48
Not gonna say.We've all struggled.
Which team gets 60?
true. well watching the game live, our section was very vocal in literally screaming at the refs regarding bad calls (there were 3 guys with really loud voices - btw i was not one of them!), but on further review, the refs were not as bad as they appeared in person. Our "struggles" on offense were more due to really good defense on RU's part than ineptitude on UCONN's part.Watching it this morning Ireally didn't think it looked all that awful. Best news is we still out scored RU for the half.true. well watching the game live, our section was very vocal in literally screaming at the refs regarding bad calls (there were 3 guys with really loud voices - btw i was not one of them!), but on further review, the refs were not as bad as they appeared in person. still, i agree, our offense is somewhat mystifying. without the scoring from KML in the 2nd half, we managed a meager 19 points. gotta give some credit to RU, but we certainly were ineffective in what Geno tried to have them do...
UConn wins, not sure the score. It doesn't matter, really.
My reasoning: I am fighting a cold, and all things being equal with no UConn games, I would go home from work early and go to bed for the next couple of days to knock it out of my system. So of course, the fates will conspire to let UConn pull out the win tonight so they play again tomorrow - thus keeping me from going to bed early tonight and tomorrow night and instead "forcing" me to be in the XL Center.
And before you laugh at my paranoia, remember - I hadn't taken a real vacation in almost 20 years. This year I go to Cancun, and the fates intervene in my wonderfully relaxing carefree vacation by causing me fall off a horse, lose consciousness for a few minutes, get a concussion (from which I STILL haven't recovered my sense of smell or taste) and mess up my back.
Fate always conspires against me. It is a fact. Even my psychiatrist thinks so.
Sorry to disagree with Geno, but revenge is a basic and original human emotion. Besides that, we're better than them. I'm with Special-K on this point..."tonight will be different".
