Duke is shooting 48.2% this season. Only 2 Terrible shooting games this year... albeit they occurred vs 2 of our 4 strongest opponents this season (ND&Purdue)... and the ND game was very early in the season.

i certainly hope UCONN wins by much more, but our last 2 lackluster performances do not bode well against a team of Duke's calibur. i'm still really interested to see how Duke does on "defense" as a good number of fans constantly harp on their opinion that "no one in the ACC plays defense". let's see how low Duke can hold UCONN in scoring, or if they can...

Thank you Carolyn Peck for continuing your UConn hating ways and predicting (hoping for) a Duke win! UConn was smart money before her pronouncement, now they're a lock!

And although it's been 5 years and 18 straight ACC/Big Monday embarrassments on ESPN at the hands of the Huskies, numero 19 ain't gonna be the charm either!
Seems that in most of these games against ACC teams, UConn jumps out on early runs (body blows) that Duke/UNC never recover from...and it just snowballs from there.

Elizabeth Williams is a great young talent (no doubt) and a lot of pre-game posts have suggested she'll best Stef tonight. But Williams has not faced another center with Stef's combined size and offensive skills. I think Stef schools the rookie tonight and we're likely to see more twin towers (Stef & Kiah) minutes than usual.

I said UConn by 15 or Duke in a close game.

Unfortunately, in our last five meetings against UConn, we have only scored more than 49 points once (and that was 51 points in a loss by 36). That is just not going to get it done.

I asked for the tandem of Kiah and Dolson to score 15 points and to get 14 rebounds they gave me 14 points and 15 rebounds...I"LL TAKE IT! What a statement game for Kiah...I am so proud of her. I also predicted that we would win by 12...we won by 16...I"LL TAKE THAT TOO! We won a tough game on the road against the number 5 team in the country. I would say this team is getting ready for a March run at a Championship... I couldn't be prouder of this ladies... Go Huskies!
