I have been enjoying checking out the Sagarin rankings page most days because even on days Uconn doesn't play, if one of their previous opponents has played it has an affect on the rankings for Uconn. It also gets you more sensitized to the issues that the NCAA panel deal with in terms of how ever win and loss has ripple down affects on every other team.
The other thing that really stands out in his format is the first half scheduling of the top teams - I never count SOS that much because for Uconn and other top teams playing an RPI #75 team vs. playing an RPI #250 team is really about the same, but it has a huge affect on the SOS. But looking at games against top 25/top 50 does reflect the number of decent teams being scheduled. So ...
The top 10 teams in Jeff's list - number of top25 games/number of top50 games
Uconn - 7/8
Baylor - 6/8
ND - 4/7
Stanford - 8/10
Duke - 1/3
Maryland - 4/8
Kentucky - 3/5
Tenn - 5/7
Penn St - 3/5
T A&M - 6/7
Uconn, Baylor, Stanford and A&M (even though they lost most of them) really stand out in this list. ND, Maryland, and TN have respectable schedules, and I am really surprised at Duke having only played on top 25 team to this point.
