Keita is an elite defender that possesses great size, incredible length and is a very fluid mover on the court. He covers immense ground on the defensive end of the court, providing a premier anchor to his team's defensive efforts.

Playing both at the NBPA Top100 Camp and the NBA Academy Games this summer, Keita showcased his ability to block and alter shots at an elite level.

Looks like a young Hasheem Thabeet in that photo.

Visit schedule doesn't seem possible. Is he going to spend 15 minutes at each school before going back to the airport?

Love that we are the last OV on his schedule. Wouldn't put it past the staff to fly Adama in to greet and host him on the visit

Will be interesting to see -at some later date and if we make their short list(s)- If staff prefers A.Diane or a re-classified Keita for a 2026 spot.

I think staff would prefer a re-classed Keita but I could be wrong.

Jamie Shaw put in the On3 equivalent of a crystal ball to Houston for Diane. People on the internet also think Keita for Duke, but that might just be a "if Duke is involved we assume that until we hear otherwise."

4-star C Arafan Diane

Joe Tipton reported that Arafan Diane is scheduled to take an unofficial visit to SMU this weekend. The 7-footer will also take a visit to Houston, Rivals is told. Other programs like UConn, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Washington, Indiana, Iowa, and more are working to get the big man on campus. Ultimately, heading into these visits, based on the intel I have, I placed an RPM for Diane to commit to Houston. Continue to watch how these visits play out and if a commitment timeline starts to form.

Pretty amazing the recruiting chops KS is showing at this stage the career. I think his class this year is only behind Duke. Shows kids still want to be coached with some toughness I guess, and the coach is really what drives the attraction as Houston wouldn’t be a landing spot I’d be jumping on for overall experience. KS really not showing tons of NBA players either, as good as he’s been.

5-star C Sayon Keita

Sayon Keita, a 7-foot-0 center who currently plays with Barcelona in Spain, went on a U.S. college tour this past week. In back-to-back days, he visited Kansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Duke, UNC, and UConn. Speaking with sources going into the recruitment, it sounded like Duke was the school my sources were watching. Coming out of the visits, I am told my sources are still watching Duke, but one source mentioned to me that he also enjoyed the Kentucky visit. It does not sound like a commitment is imminent here, and there may be some time to soak in and reflect. I am told he took the visits in the way he did to get them all in before the dead period and so he could take them on the same trip to the US. Continue to watch if a commitment timeframe starts to emerge.

He should talk to some of the current and recent former Duke players to get a sense about what it's like to win a national championship. Oh wait........:)
