Looking like a good chance of rain tomorrow. Going to be muddy and yucky. If yous guys are wearing white T's for the white out, please wear an undershirt. No one, and I mean no one, wants to see a plump middle age male wet T-shirt contest tomorrow.

As for the game, hold on to the ball and own the line of scrimmage. Probably going to get a bad break or two slipping on offense and defense. Keep playing. Those types of plays should even out over course of the game.

UConn might be less than 20 yards passing tomorrow.

I’ll show off my nips if I have to.
Damp and chilly does lead to glass cutters.

Can we nip these snarky comments in the bud?

Trying to have a serious conversation about how the weather may impact the game. Players slipping- remember how bad UConn played last year on Fresno's fake grass field because the temp was so high and UConn brough the wrong cleats?

There's a chance for sharks to make some serious money taking the under for total points since it's going to be a slop fest.

UConn's depth is already seriously impacted by injuries and a wet playing surface has a chance of a few more freak injuries just from the playing surface.

Two weeks in a row in ideal playing conditions, UConn's starting QB couldn't get to 40 yards passing. Now he has to throw in rain? Oy vey.

If I didn't know better, I'd swear you were a BY virgin.

Earlier in the week it was reported that Mora was considering using some 325-lb lineman as an RB. Sounds to me a mud-covered behemoth could be just the thing for the conditions.

Seems like most of the rain will be south of the Rent in the most current models. May not be a slopfest, but probably will be a slippery field.

More importantly, tailgating looks like it may be more manageable / less gross.

They say bad weather tends to be something of an equalizer berween otherwise mismatched teams, so I hope it pours all game long. I'm looking forward to seeing our 300+ lb running back destroy the middle of the Bulldogs D. :D
Somebody needs to spring for Frank Caliendo to come and do his Madden impersonation.

This. I don't mind watching football in the rain. God knows, we've had some huge home wins in miserable weather back before we were perennially terrible. Cooking and eating in the rain, however, is another matter entirely.

Rain plays into our hands. We have trouble passing but could spring someone when they put 9 in the box. As a team that plays more open a game, the rain will limit their passing plays. Now if they don't bring long enough cleets........

I'm really bummed about this. Been planning this game as my girls' first one since the time was announced. My oldest's sport schedule was at perfect times when released, all was lining up! Then the rain came in the forecast. We were going with two other families and their kids too, all first timers (kids). Looks like it's going to be another year until we get this happening. The kids don't care much about the game so a 12:00 start and no tailgate is not worth it....stupid weather.

I'm in an almost identical situation. This is the first game in my daughter's life that is at home and doesn't interfere with nap time. My buddy is also planning to bring his son to his first game. We're gonna try to tough it out unless it's steadily and/or heavily raining, though.

It is a 3:30 start and the rain may end at 1PM. Could always bring premade food/ pizza. Just a forecast I saw tonight so maybe it could work out afterall.

Running errands this morning and it’s definitely different weather than the 102 degrees and radiant sun that we got whomped in last year. Although Fresno themselves are very much a warm weather team they’ll have plenty of experience in conditions like these being in the MWC. The weather may help a bit but we’ll see.

Dammit. You killed me with the Fresno St warm weather comment.

Been there in December through March and it gets below freezing in the valley.
