Gus Johnson is just awesome. Joel Klatt compliments him well.

This game is way closer than I thought it would be. Awesome! USC up 7 in OT

Wait, so the offense has given up the other 35 points in those 6 quarters?! Someone needs to explain something here.

Sure, but 2/3 of those 6 quarters were against an NIU team which finished 5-7 a year ago and was not projected to be a MAC contender this season.
NIU would score over 25 against us. And the other 1/3 was against an Oregon team who dropped 50 tonight on the road.

Not saying he's great by any means but more throwing out there since people got such joy out of his teams poor week 1 performance.

Nebraska paid Northern Illinois $820,000 to come to Lincoln.

The Huskers got a loss in return.

NIU's two most famous alums...Cindy Crawford and "Lacy Underall" from "Caddyshack", known as Cindy Morgan in real life. That's one of the best movie character names ever. Both are proud NIU alums that support their school.

Seen a lot of football over the years but never saw this. Legal kick.

San Diego State beats No. 19 Stanford after 23-minute delay for lights going dark in the fourth quarter. Couldn't make the end -- fell asleep when the lights went off.

Nice win by SDSU.

Subjective opinions being subjective and all on NIU, but Oregon taking their feet off the gas in the 2nd half was gradually clearer in the 3Q but quantitatively indisputable in the 4Q (1 4Q pass in 1st possession versus 16 runs of 17 total offensive plays).
