Saturday Morning Cartoons

I loved pretty much every cartoon mentioned here though some were before my time I definately watched the reruns. Some I couldn’t watch because we didn’t have cable and could only watch them when I slept over my cousins house because they did.

How about watching the reruns of The Little Rascals, The Munsters, and Gillian’s Island in black and white? Classic! Loved those shows

Loved the Herculoids. Every now and then, they would cross over with Space Ghost and that was super cool to me as a kid watching that.

Pretty sure Shazam was the precursor and genesis of the idea for greatest American Hero.
Creator of GAH watched Shazam and says;
1. What is this guy's full origin story?
2. Wouldn't that be better TV than a fully formed adult hero?
3. Didn't they just 'yada yada' that part (15yrs) by turning the boy into a man every time he says Shazam!?
4. What if we replace the creepy old guy in the van with a macho G-man?
5. Maybe Shazam/ is older & divorced, but with a hot yet reluctant girlfriend!
6. Shazam is a cool word though, do they have a copyright? Marvel! Crap let's use no name rather than a lousy one and steer even more into the skid of incompetency & ensuing hijinks.
6. Why do they keep saying 'Mentor' every 10 seconds as if no one has ever heard this word before?!

Michael: Yeah, well at least your name isn’t Michael Bolton.
Samir: You know there’s nothing wrong with that name.
Michael: There WAS nothing wrong with it until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys.
Samir: Hmm… well why don’t you just go by Mike instead of Michael?
Michael: No way. Why should I change? He’s the one who sucks.

.-.
Another one came to mind. Dungeons & Dragons:

That is a well reasoned answer.

One thing always bothered me about Wonder Twin power though.
Zan and his water based stuff. I mean one time he turned into a Jet Engine made of ice. But wouldnt the heat of the engine melt the ice?

I’m more of an Evil Gleek fan.
