Saturday lineup (11/30)

Arkansas trailed most of the game against (ahem) Wisconsin, needed a miracle comeback just to beat a Big Ten cellar team on a neutral court.

Why they're still ranked #25 is beyond me.

Weird glitches happen sometimes, especially with these tournaments. It'll get corrected.
 
I don't feel like starting a separate thread for the "other" games for which @Shades hasn't started a game thread, but Drake-Auburn is actually a pretty decent-quality game. Drake took a double-digit lead early but then Auburn caught fire and has hit 8 threes in the 1st half, 5 of them by by Hansen. Drake leads 44-42 in a surprisingly high-scoring game.
 
Becca Hittner has been inconsistent this year. I’ll be interested to see if Grace Berg can make an impact.

Auburn played a lot better in this game. Hansen and Alexander were great for them. Drake just executed a little better down the stretch.

They are struggling to finish/close games this year. Hansen was great, was very impressed with her.
When is Robyn Benton suppose to return? She did some good stuff as a true freshmen last year.

They closed pretty well against Dayton :p
 
NC State completing play in the Rainbow Wahine Showdown...up 9-4 on North Texas early.
 
I signed up for sling, and will watch NC State on the ACCN channel soon. Looking forward to seeing this team.

You won't need Sling to see NC State's next game -- they play Maryland in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge Thursday night at 7 pm on ESPN.
 
NC State leads North Texas, 19-15, at end of 1st quarter. North Texas finished the quarter on a 6-0 run.
 
At halftime...NC State leads North Texas, 36-27. Elissa Cunane with a double-double already, with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

NC State heating up in the 3rd...behind back-to-back THREEs from Ace Konig, and a runaway layup from Elissa Cunane. Timeout called by North Texas...and NC State leading, 49-34, 6:15 left 3rd quarter.
 
End of 3rd quarter...NC State leads North Texas, 59-46. Elissa Cunane with a huge game to this point..19 points and 16 boards. Kayla Jones the only other Wolfpack Woman in double figures, with 13.
 
Final: NC State goes to 8-0 on the season with a 76-65 win over North Texas (2-4). Elissa Cunane with a monster game...24 points and 19 rebounds.

Next up for the Wolfpack Women: #9 Maryland Thursday night in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge in a renewal of one of WBB's oldest rivalries.
