UCF, in a typically low-scoring affair, pulled away from Tulane for a 52-42 win to avenge its only AAC loss to a team not named UConn. Wright finishes with 16 points; sophomore post Kaba had 14.

That locks up the #2 seed in the AAC tourney for UCF. They have a 1-game lead over Cincy and hold the head-to-head tiebreaker.

So at this point the top 4 seeds are set:
1. UConn
2. UCF
3. Cincinnati
4. Houston

You kinda expect Carleton to get hers, such a great player. She had 23 and 12. But the player that really killed TX was Ashley Joens with 22 including 5-8 from 3. Iowa State cooled off in the second half but had such a cushion and did enough to hang on.

Iowa State may get a hosting spot. It’ll be close. Texas won’t be close. Probably a 6 or 7 seed. There is a gaping chasm between Baylor and the rest of the Big 12.

I will say even with the injuries Texas has too much talent to be losing this may games. They should be a close 2nd to Baylor based on talent.

ISU's future is in Joens hands and by the looks of it, they will be just fine. Just glad ISU and BU won't have to play until the finals of B12 Tourney.
