Jake Trotter, ESPN Staff Writer:
Iowa State's Joel Lanning totaled 78 total snaps, including 57 on defense, 13 on offense and eight on special teams. He finished with 25 yards passing, 35 yards rushing, eight tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.

Navy remains undefeated - beats Air Force 48-45 in a wild one.

What a last 3 minutes of Miami/FSU...

Miami pulls it out w TD to go ahead w/ 6 seconds left after FSU took lead under 2.

Western Michigan and Buffalo are entering the 6th overtime on ESPNU.

I repeat. The SIXTH overtime.

Doesn't get more dramatic than that, especially with the ten minute replay review of the touchdown.

Phew... at least someone scored more points than Memphis this weekend (people won't see that it was OT ;))

Va Tech getting a game from BC..10-3 7:15 left in the 2nd qtr
Zach Allen from New Canaan having a good game for BC on D...AJ Dillion from New London playing well too

Monmouth 48, Holy Cross 36.

Holy Cross is now 2-4. Losses to us, Dartmouth, Lafayette, and now Monmouth. Wins against Bucknell and New Hampshire. By the transitive property I think we would be looking at a .500 record this year if we played an FCS schedule.

Holy Cross has Yale next week. I wonder which CT college team will have the most flattering scoreline vs. them this year.

I know its a process, and I'm a patient man, but I'm really depressed right now.

UCF's had a quick turnaround from 0-12. Then again 0-12 was a quick drop from their Fiesta Bowl win.

Wisconsin QB just threw the worst pass of the weekend.
Pick-6 for Nebraska 17 - 17.

Wisconsin won that game 38-17, their star freshman tailback burned Disco's defense for 294 yards rushing. The Badgers took it to the Cornhuskers in Lincoln. That 17-17 score was fleeting and not indicative of who was winning the battle in the trenches and on the ground.

I can't even have fun watching other teams play college football anymore. UConn football has me down in the dumps, boys

In FCS action, #23 Elon University won its fifth consecutive game. Three of those five wins were over ranked teams.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. My son goes to Elon and I was at the game during Parents Weekend. First year HC Curt Cignetti coached under Nick Saban for three years before getting his own head coaching gig at Indiana Univ. of Pennsylvania (53-17 record) and now Elon (5-1). I love his offense.
