Wow, a 28-12 third quarter for the Cowgirls, cuts the deficit to 11. Impressive.

Not WCBB but it did happen today. I was gonna turn on the TV to see what was going on late in the State vs Clemson men's game.... but decided against it and headed to the gym.

I missed this




Clemson was up 6 pts with 26.5 seconds...... couldnt hit their free throws. The Clemson player who threw himself on the floor is their best player..... who is shooting 84% for the season from the FT line... who missed a pair with 14 seconds... and another pair with about 7 seconds to go. Gotta feel for the kid.

The Clemson player who threw himself on the floor is their best player..... who is shooting 84% for the season from the FT line... who missed a pair with 14 seconds... and another pair with about 7 seconds to go. Wow, heartbreaker for Clemson. Elation for State fans ripping victory from the jaws of defeat. UCLA had a crazy come back win @ Oregon similar to that several weeks ago.

Gonzaga beat Santa Clara 78-61. GU didn't shoot the ball very well but enjoyed a 25-5 FTA disparity. That can win you plenty of games.

West Virginia whipped Kansas State 60-30. KSU was 0-18 from three and shot 20% overall. Did anyone see this one? I've watched both teams in person this year and this result is pretty shocking. Not sure what happened to the Kansas State team that smacked Texas a couple weeks ago.

I watched most of the second half. Kansas State just looked so flat. Couldn't hit shots and couldn't generate any positive energy.
