Sassy Sarah

Just came to me. What if this is Sarah’s way of leading. She seems to be silly and funny off the court. Like Larry Bird, light, funny, and a jokester off the court. Then, when he said something, everybody listened and weren’t intimidated. He was one of them.
Bird story: team was tired, didn’t want to practice, Bird walks into the locker room and walks over to Eddie Pinckney and says to him, “I’m going to kick your a** today”. Then Parrish says the same to Pinckney. Game on.
I could see Sarah that way.
Thanks, FanSince17. That's a great story about one of the legends of the game who Sarah either consciously or not could be emulating. Her demeanor off the court (including when she is on the bench kidding around with her teammates) we are told is nothing like it is on the court where anyone watching her can see it is all business with only an occasional smile.

Or my favorite, Larry walking into locker room before an All star game 3 pt shooting contest, looks at everyone and says "which one of you is coming in second"
