Saratoga Springs?

The Warden and I are heading up next weekend for the races. We have never been there and my usual research when I travel is limited to breweries (Artisinal, Whitman, Druthers) and cigar shops (James & Sons). Any recommendations for restaurants and/or other things to do up there? Being a history geek I plan to walk around the battle sites.

I'm no help, sorry. When I go to the Spa it's: the track, post-race festivities, eat something, do it all again tomorrow. My favorite Saratoga quote came from famed old trainer Woody Stevens when he was asked about the grind after they increased to 40 race days. "It's not the 40 days that gets to you, it's the 40 nights!"
