Not sure if anyone is interested in this, but I was just reading about the Canadian women’s hockey team at the Olympics who have outscored their opponents 23 to 2 so far. Kia Nurse’s cousin is one of the top performers for the Canadian women’s hockey team.
 
I watched a women's hockey exhibition game at the XL Center last year between Canada and the USA, and Sarah Nurse was impossible to miss. She is not very big, maybe 5-7, so I can understand why she pursued hockey rather than basketball.

Canada's scorers seemed mostly not to be the big, muscular types. They were forwards who stood near the crease on one side, and waited for the defense to ignore them. They then knocked in rebounds and backdoor passes from their teammates.

Canada beat Finland 11-1. I believe Nurse had 3 goals.

Both Nurse and Jenner had "Hat Tricks." It was Sarah Nurse's first ever. Always good to have it at the Olympics (in pool play is good) hopefully more will be achieved in the knock-out rounds.

The simple answer to your question is "no." Seriously! They are all talented and tough.

The gold medal will come down to Canada vs the US. The US team has outscored their 2 opponents 10-2 and is currently up 5-0 on Switzerland after 1 period.

There are 4 former Big Red woman hockey players on the Canadian roster
 
Saw the goal. It as a thing of beauty. A precise set play shot just squeezed in near the upright.

She also has 17 points in the Olympics and is back checking the USA team all over the place.

Canada has an elite goalie and US does not (let in a second (soft?) goal)
 
Any 6'5" high school age basketball playing Nurses in the family? 5'10", ultra quick, great shooting/dribbling Nurses would be welcome as well.
 
Just curious, is this "Nurse" also related to Kia? :rolleyes:
