Saniyah Hall

ESPNW No. 4 (2026)

Laurel School (Ohio) | Legends U P24

Hall is calm on the basketball court. Her confident skill set and overall feel for the game make her a tough cover, as she can flat out score. She uses her skills for post-ups and isolation opportunities and is a tough matchup in transition because she has a creative shake to her handle and the footwork to match. Hall finishes very well around the basket because of her size and ability to take contact, and she seems to be able to fit through space that's not there in the paint.

The top-tier matchups seem to get her attention a little bit more, and her fire shows in big moments. If there was one thing to tweak, it would be consistently playing with that same fire from the jump every time out to close out competition from the opening tip. It is most evident defensively, and those habits and iterations of experience are important for elite prospects.

Among all the shining stars on the court, Saniyah Hall delivered a standout performance, dominating from start to finish with an impressive stat line of 24 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 6 blocks!

What makes Saniyah stand out is her rare blend of physical attributes. At 6'1" with elite speed for her size, she presents a matchup problem for virtually any defender. This physical advantage allows her to dominate smaller wings in the post, while her quickness enables her to blow by larger defenders on the perimeter.

Saniyah's three-level scoring ability is on full display in the Overtime Select league. Her proficiency in finishing at the rim, pulling up in the mid-range, and knocking down three-pointers makes her an offensive threat from anywhere on the court. This versatility forces defenses to account for her at all times, often opening up opportunities for her teammates.

Her downhill attacking style, coupled with her ability to effectively attack closeouts, puts constant pressure on the defense. This aggressive approach not only leads to high-percentage shots for Saniyah but also creates scoring opportunities for her teammates, as evidenced by her 8 assists over two games in Overtime Select.

Defensively, Saniyah's impact is equally impressive. Her combination of size and speed allows her to be a disruptive force on the perimeter while also providing elite rim protection. Her 4 steals and 7 blocks in just two Overtime Select games highlight her ability to change the game on the defensive end.

At 6'1", Saniyah Hall's impact in the Overtime Select league is even more pronounced. Her height, combined with her speed and skill set, makes her an even rarer prospect in the class of 2026. This additional length enhances her ability to shoot over defenders, finish at the rim, and disrupt shots on defense.

Defensively, Saniyah's 6'1" stature amplifies her versatility. She can now effectively guard positions 2 through 4, and potentially even some smaller 5s, making her an incredibly valuable defensive asset. Her ability to protect the rim (7 blocks in Overtime Select) is even more impressive given this updated height.

I noticed today that Saniyah has unfollowed several schools on Instagram, including UConn. She also unfollowed Geno as well. Take it with a grain of salt, but I’d say it could be a good indication that UConn may no longer be in consideration for her! Don’t really even know how heavily UConn was recruiting her to begin with though.

Yea disappointing as she is my second favorite target for 2026 after the Big O. Liked her better than Robinson, but this could be because another wing type in 25 (Davidson, Maker or Prawl) or in 26 (Robinson) is leaning our way, or at least i hope that is the reason.

Disappointed (if things are headed that direction) as well, especially after seeing how good she and Sarah played off each other in 3X3. Hoping Davidson wants to be a Husky!
