Saniya leads Ossining to Finals

Saniya Chong had 29 points in Ossining's 100/57 beating of Ursuline in the Section One class AA semifinals this afternoon. Chong had another 6 goals from behind the arc today. That gives her 79 3s this season and 2790 points for her career.
Chong played a little less than half the game and was sitting as early as the first quarter.
Also of note Espinosa-Hunter added 21 points, hitting a few 3 pointers from behind the bench.(just kidding)
Ossining will play Our Lady of Lourdes at 2:00 PM on Sunday in the Class AA final.

Odd note: I saw the current coach at New Hampshire [Maureen Magarity] play in the NYS tourney a couple of times in Glens Falls when she was at Lady of Lourdes.
She was a good inside player....went to BC....transferred to Marist. Her Dad is coach at Army. She was recently inducted into the Lourdes HOF.
I assume Ossining is a solid favorite...if Maureen was playing, not so much.
