UCONN's SOS is #3. Who's is higher? Alabama and Nicholls State. Alabama has played Chattanooga, Nebraska, and Duke. I can see giving them a higher SOS than UCONN. Don't necessarily agree, but at least it's reasonable. Nicholls state has played Southern University of New Orleans, and Baylor. That makes their SOS higher than UCONN's, who played Hartford, Stanford, Maryland, and PSU? Curious...

Yes - when Nichols State and Alabama are #1 and 2 in the SOS it looks a little odd when #3 has already played Stanford MD and PSU - but it is looking more normal that a few days ago.
Eric - it is all based on the ranking in the table so at the moment Uconn has played #5, 7, 10, and 117 so an average strength of about 37 He only has one game for Nichols State - so Baylor at #2. Alabama - #4, 14, 73 = average of 31
