If McQuery did in fact stop the assault, he deserves a major apology by all the media who are and have been trashing him nationwide. He still could have done more, no argument there, but he has become a villain because he supposedly looked away and ran to his Father when he saw the assault. If he physically intervened, then it puts him in a very new light.
We'll see what the Attorney General has to say about this. If he did intervene, one would think you could find that in the transcript of the investigation. It will be interesting to see if that information is there, because of course the question was asked: "What did you do?"
It's not like McQueary can make this claim without also having said the same thing to the AG's office.
