Yep. Starter on the championship teams as a frosh.
As a soph, 12.4 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 1.9 bpg, All-BE and BE DPOY.

He had Charlie V and Hilton along with Rudy and Rash as McDs,, Marcus W and D Brown in 04-05
As was the year before he benefitted greatly by those around him.
Steady-yes, but not someone you could say was a standout player on his own.

Would think Hurley got to him like "few chances to prove you can be a pro next year" sank in. After Reed, Jr. went off at Providence, Johnson put on his big boy pants vs Marquette and Seton Hall.

If we play Villanova on Thursday night, I would think Reed, Jr. will get a lot of minutes because of Dixon bc Dixon could hip check Johnson into the stands.
