Sadly OT - BET

As the team prepares for its final game of the 13-14 regular season and looks ahead to their first AAC Tournament I can't believe that it has been two years since we, as UCONN fans, last could look forward to the BET. Doesn't seem right, and definitely doesn't feel right.

Went to the BET with my crew for so many years. Met so many fans from other schools.The bars around the garden were packed. Such an amazing atmosphere. And then there was the games. Some great games, great players, and great teams. It was nice going back for a game this year, it wasn't like the BET but still a fun time. Hope we can play a game there now and then. Such a shame to dismantle the best college hoop conference. So glad I was able to share it with my daughter and many fellow fans. Looking forward line em up and we'll play em. GO Huskies!!!!!!!!

Went to the first BET in Providence and 2 in MSG after that. Have to say the Providence tourney was more fun. They let you leave between games so everybody headed to a bar and got liquored up between games. First Uconn tourney game was against a Rafferty coached Seton Hall team as I recall.
