If this story is accurate- pls refer to my earlier posts on this matter- If it is not accurate- As Rosanne Rosanna Dana used to say-
Never Mind!!!! You _____!

Actually, it was Emily Litella.

Reading the Wash Post article in today's news links, I was surprised to read that Jannah's mother is an administrator at the Univ of Maryland. I'm wondering if that's where she'll end up if she decides to play basketball again. I suspect she wanted to get away from home and that was one of the reasons she signed with the Lady Vols. Obviously this is pure speculation on my part.

Hopefully Jannah will be able to play again if that is what she wants.

Good for her- a really thoughtful and well written response! Hope it's onward and upward from here.

"There is NO reason in the world to beat on ANY woman, period"

No way am I condoning what this dirt bag did however, that statement is BS.

Really - thanks Phil- wow I can't believe I got that wrong- thanks!

You were supposed to respond "Well it just goes to show you, it's always something" :)

Lots of abused men, too. :(

JRRRJ - The quote you attributed to me in your post is not mine. I actually disagree with that statement. I also disagree with your editing of the quote.

The article from ESPN that ETT posted left me thinking Jannah was done with basketball for good but no other story made me think that. Has anyone else heard that?

(I wasn't sure where to post about this here the original or the new post so I just flipped a coin.)

Right you are.

Sincere apologies.

I've been having a strange difficulty remembering to remove the [quote /quote] tags lately.

I do wonder why you liked the post, tho...

No apology necessary, but thank you for that. I "liked" your post because I agreed with the comment you made regarding abused men. It happens.
