He's a solid 3 star center - 6'9, long, and athletic. He's from NYC, and looking to stick around the area. He was originally part of the class of 2010, but didn't qualify. I believe he had a bunch of Big East offers. Then after a year of prep he committed to TCU. He started summer classes there last summer, but then didn't have enough credits and this past year has been taking online courses.

He might be a good kid and I think he could help UConn (even without the exodus), but I'm not sure UConn can afford to take an academic risk. Seems like this kind of offer got UConn into trouble in the past.

Any thoughts?

Good point on the academics. As much as we need a big, its got to be a big with some sense of educational priorities.

Staff interview him if a good kid trust ur eval and ur new academic processes. I've heard this kid is real good.

20 year old frosh...wow how times have changed......

amazing how times have changed. we need impact players yet somehow a 3 star recruit is considered a good get?

6'9" center? Better have a face up game, rebound like a beast, and be willing to play the 4.
