Not to beat a dead horse about this AAU requirement, but I'm watching the RU/UL game and RU just aired a 30 second spot where they mentioned the word "research" about 1,000 times. Research = AAU. AAU = B1G.

This is one area that I think Herbst has absolutely excelled in doing since being hired. Her emphasis on academics and research has been tremendous. It's a shame that she's playing catch-up thanks to prior inept administrations content with status quo.

Open position for a research czar, and the technology park on north campus looks pretty badass. Groundbreaking for the first building is late 2013.
