Wow Pitt gets crushed at home by Rutgers 62-39. This Pitt team is awful to watch and the talent level is the worst in the Big East. Pitt and Villanova are the two worst team in the Big East this year and who would of thought that at the beginning of the year.

5 straght losses to Wagner, ND, Cincy, DePaul and Rutgers. This was the easy stretch of their schedule.

I don't know...I'm surprised Pitt is this bad. Coming into the year you would have thought they'd be good enough to at least go 11-7 in the Big East, but man are they struggling. Ashton Gibbs was preseaosn POY in the Big East, no? I have no idea what has happened to him, I guess the shots just aren't falling for him. Nasier Robinson is good, and you would have figured they'd have had a decent frontcourt with Zanna/Dante Taylor.

That team hasn't been nearly the same since Birch left. Not sure if it is coincidence or not.

Travon Woodall coming back should help..he's probably their second best offensive weapon. Anybody know when he's supposed to return?

was about to say that also regarding birch as well ....

Weird. but I bet they would look like Pitt of old against us.

Kinda ahhhhhhhhhhh ummmm VERY shocked at their decline... They'll prob make 6 threes in a row agains the U and make it a game though, as a few other opponents have managed to do

And the scum scored 6 in the final minute, 33pts. in 39 minutes.

They don't have anybody that can put the ball in the basket outside of Gibbs, and he's playing point guard now with Woodall out. When he goes 0-7 from three like he did last night, they have no chance.

I didn't realize Woodall was out. That is a really big deal.

Could go through the month of January with a BE win. @ Marquette, @ Cuse, Louisville, Providence, Georgetown, and @ WVU. I honestly don't see them winning any of those games unless Louisville decides they want to lose more.

Two shockers for my early morning wakeup . Turn on espn and 2 nights ago the 90-59 beatdown the friars inflicted on the cards and now the 61-39 game from last night. Not totally surprised at the outcome's but the score's of those games are out there.
