The constant dragging of RU football through the mud...dumping on upon dumping on has to make you wonder about what the mission is for those papers. Do they back them through the good times...or just always look for dirt? Not that RU doesn't bring it on themselves...
Oh, it's clearly PayBIAMutherF...
From last year - Julie Hermann: It would be 'great' if The Star-Ledger went out of business

>>...because this is the same woman who stood up in front of a class of journalism students a few weeks ago and said it would be “great” if the newspaper died. No, really.
Great. That was her word. The Rutgers athletics director, in a wide-ranging discussion with the class, was talking about her own rocky introduction with the media in New Jersey when … well, here is the exchange:
“If they’re not writing headlines that are getting our attention, they’re not selling ads – and they die,” Hermann told the Media Ethics and Law class. “And the Ledger almost died in June, right?”
“They might die again next month,” a student said.
“That would be great,” she replied. “I’m going to do all I can to not give them a headline to keep them alive.”<<
For opposing fan bases though, it's kinda like the people who stop to watch us work @ an MVA -- they can't help themselves but look even though they know it may be tragic and innocent people may be hurt.
