Figured I would make a concise thread that just stated the facts, as the final positions and the player personnel slots are filled I can edit them in

The DL Coach posting had NFL Coaching experience as a preferred qualification and I believe Wolthausen is the only one that has that...

The DC has 3 years NFL playing experience as a preferred qualification which matches Poindexter and the Assistant Football Coach Co-Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers fits VB's experience.

Gotta believe that Lineburg will have more responsibilities than ST's - maybe WR like he did @ UVA.

Just consolidating a post for future reference:
In my very novice look at the recruiting areas, this is what I came up with (through use of Rivals recruiting targets for each coach):
*Updated Version

Patterson - NY, general Midwest (Iowa, Illinois, etc.)
Lineburg - VA mostly, southern NJ (almost exclusively Virginia)
Jones - NY, FL, GA (more southern than northern recruiting)
Cummings - IL, AL, FL, MI, PA, OH (very heavy in Illinois and in Alabama)
Diaco - NJ, NY, VA, MA (heavy New Jersey influence but went into Mass. a lot)
Foley - NY, MA, NH, MD, VA, Canada (he's the one that got Petrus, Delahunt, and Joseph)
Reardon - IN, MI, NE, ND, SD (Thanks, Medic!)
*Poindexter - VA, MD, NC
*Brown - FL, GA
*Wolthausen - OH, West Coast (from ASU, USCw UA days) Add: Specifically Metro Phoenix, San Jose, San Francisco, Northern Arizona

With the new additions to the coaching staff, we have increased our mid-Atlantic influence to three recruiters, we have increased our Florida / Georgia influence to three recruiters, and we have increased our Midwest influence to three recruiters. In addition to that, Wolthausen gives us a coach that is familiar with the west coast. I'm not sure how much impact he could have there, but any experience there is better than none.

Damn, I'm psyched about the possibilities!!!

Used to be primarily Jon Wholley... guess it would be Foley/Reardon now.

Yeah, based on his New England prowess, I'm guessing Foley will lead that charge. Diaco will likely also help out in that area as well, since he has big familiarity in NJ and MA...

Stupid questions maybe... but who recruits CT??

Used to be primarily Jon Wholley... guess it would be Foley/Reardon now.

Partial answer:

Although no Connecticut natives on #UConn football coaching staff, HC Bob Diaco gave every assistant a portion of state to recruit

Running backs coach Ernest Jones was given Fairfield County to recruit & 1 of 1st things he did was reach out to HS coaches down there
