Because when debating the best league of all time the real critical measure is the rating of the 15th/16th team up against the 14th/15th team?

Honestly, the significance of this is what, either way?

The AAC will never be debated in this arguement, in any year.

What does any of this have to do with the AAC?

We're a 4 or 5 bid league at our best and a 2 bid league at our worst.

About right in line as the 6th/7th best league most seasons.

No one even knows what the ACC is anymore, looks like the only way they got there is they took 4 Big East teams from 2011, lol.

Silly Rothstein, be smarter please.

Certainly it is hard not to notice that the ACC is trying to be what the Big East was when the ACC tournament is in Brooklyn. The excitement surrounding the tournament should be comparable, except that I'm not sure how many fans from the southern schools will turn up in NYC.

Except that the Barclays Center in Brooklyn is not quite MSG.....or even close

He also said Indiana State beating Butler wasn't an upset. Indiana State finished 11-20 and lost in the first round of the MVC tournament.

2 different leagues 2 different styles of basketball
The current ACC teams could not physically match up with the OBE teams
I know its been said but you have to laugh at the fact that 4 of top 5 2010/11 OBE teams are in the ACC now
Rothstein is a DB always has been always will be

What a hack. He is obviously trying to stir s***. otherwise he would wait until the regular season is over, seeds are given and see how teams perform. btw an acc team better win this year or this guy looks dumb.

also the worst 2011 BE team to make it was 21-12 which beats any mediocre 17-15 or 18-14 acc trash team this year.

this guys tweets are garbage.

The ACC is great, it's unquestionable, but this is basic headline grabbing hyperbole, they aren't the best ever.

And even if they were, we wouldn't know until April.

There are about three teams in this year's ACC that would have done almost as well in the Big East, and a fourth in Virginia who would have competed. The rest of today's ACC would have been destroyed. To call any league the best ever at a time where the overall quality of college basketball is so poor is hyperbole. Rothstein used to be good. So to was college basketball. We now have teams that are 17-14, under .500 in league play, that are still considered on the bubble. LOL at best ever.
