So what's the deal with Roscoe then? Is he hurt? In the doghouse? That's gotta be a pretty big doghouse considering he was starting last year. One of my favorite guys on the team hope he doesn't consider going elsewhere where he can play more.

He's in a prolonged funk and I think there are multiple factors. I still think he has a large role to play on the team and we'll see his efforts win us one down the stretch.

totally agree that he will get his chances and come up big for us down the road this season...

he will certainly have his chances. i am rooting big time for Roscoe, but whoever plays the best should be on the court. i don't mean to sound harsh, but if Roscoe isn't getting the minutes and someone else (or 2 other players) are playing better than him and earning his minutes, then it won't be much of a loss even if he were to decide to transfer...

again i'm not suggesting, or hoping that happens. it's just that usually a guy leaves because he wants more PT and simply isn't getting it, and doesn't see himself getting it in the future.

I predicted Roscoe's minutes would plunge in a thread early in the year. I was right, but for the wrong reason. I thought Daniels would take his minutes.

As it turns out, Olander, Boatright, and Drummond have taken the minutes.

Roscoe, Giffey, and Daniels are all suffering from the fact that they don't have good enough handles to help move the offense, and so Calhoun prefers Boat, Lamb, and Napes in there. It's really that.

Started out the year not going to class so he was/is in the doghouse with Calhoun, also hampered with injuries, also doesnt have handles and shoots to many threes so he hasnt played much. I thought we would see a big improvement from Roscoe because the way he played in the tourney. I think he is too worried about being pulled and isnt just simply playing the game. He needs to rebound and bang to get time. Still hope for him hopefully he starts getting more in the rotation.

We do not speculate on transfers. Please don't go there again.

His energy is down because he doesn't have that freshman enthusiasm and his minutes are way down. That and his defense were his biggest assets last year.

Other factors: He cannot handle the ball, He has developed a wicked hitch in his jumper,
