I only see 8 spots left. With 3 definites being taken (three 5-win teams playing each other).
we need 13 of 17 teams to lose to sleep better.

We will be ok. There will be open bids that are contracted to conferences that won't fill them (for example the SEC as they'll get a bunch of teams in the playoff); at that point it's may the most desirable team to win. For anything east of the Mississippi (and perhaps as far as Texas) that is UConn, there aren't going to be any P4 teams without homes; UConn is the most desirable G5 team that will be outside of a conference assignment (at least in the East, proximity could give the edge to some Mountain West teams or Washington State in the west)

This is a summary of what I saw looking through the standings and conference / bowl agreements on Sunday.
