Has anyone ever given much thought to putting Stef in the low post and Breanna on the high post? Like to hear your thoughts on this.
I'm talking about any game, not just last night. There was not going to be any advantage to keeping our posts in the lost post last night since ND was effectively pressuring the guards to deny the entry pass. Notice that several of Morgan's baskets came with her attacking from the top and driving the lane. Look at where the spaces are in ND's defense and attack the seams. Start high attack the hoop and know where the kick out spotters are.
She may be the best passing big in womens hoops.Keeping Stef in the low post wastes the greatest advantage she brings. Her passing and the ability to run the offense through her. The issue high or low post is often getting the ball into her. Putting her in the low post will even increase the wear and tear on her more and increase the likely accrual of fouls.
