It may be because her hair was pulled back, but, at the end of that clip, Stef 's face looked thinner than I recall.

STEF really look good...ready for the banging on these physical games/match ups....Stef is one of the smartest UCONN players...

She does look thinner. I'm sure she is in great shape. Based on Geno's recent tweets, I am predicting a 1st team AA type season.

Stef looks awesome. Geno predicts big jump for her. That snippet of practice did not show us much, but as addicts for us a little is better than none. A while back I had mentioned the point about how UConn practices were different in intensity and focus. Some suggested that was a thing of the past and a substantial number of teams had stepped up in that regard. I did a rewatch of the Louisville championship game yesterday and picked up something from Doris Burke that I had not caught before. She said she and Dave O'Brien had been to "a great many practices over the last two weeks and the UConn practices are just plain different." Went on to stress intensity and no one takes a play off. The conditioning and practices are extraordinary. That is confirmed to me every game I see when we get a close up after 5 minutes of up and down the court play and no one has broken a sweat! Seriously, check that out. Okay, Stewie knows how to sweat. :)

I think she is also getting older. Becoming more woman than girl.

STEF and STEWIE are the mothers of the nightmare match ups this coming season....

Welcome aboard Robert. There can only be one Momma and that is Stef. But Stewie makes a formidable tall, gangly Auntie (who always brings presents).;)

Unlike you, I'm SURE she's getting older.
Ok you got me. I mean her face is actually aging, maturing would probably be a better word.

Meyers - You never, ever tell a woman that her face is aging.
Good point. Maturing would be a much better (safer) word. Luckily for me (and them), I don't actually interact with any of the players.

Stop digging, meyers, you've hit bedrock.
Oh I can go much deeper. You have no idea what kind of trouble I can get myself in.

I was born with quite a large mouth, and a very small foot.

STEF ,KIAH ,MORGANand STEWIE makes a wall in our frontcourt...It's gonna be hard for the opponents to get through these wall.....

Brenda VanLengen and Mechelle Voepel did a radio podcast in April after the Final Four and VanLengen specifically talked about UConn's practices. She's been part of ESPN's production crew for the past 8 Final Fours and in that role has had the opportunity to attend all of the teams' practices. VanLengen said no team practices like UConn. She said Geno's practices are "different than everybody else...there's a demand and focus and attention to detail that others don't reach...very impressive."
