Can we get Boatright to return for his senior year, and Purvis to join him in the back-court? Please? Pretty please?

I think there is a good chance Boatright comes back for his Sr year. Who knows, maybe he takes a big step and has a year where he averages well over 20 ppg...but just look at the season Shabazz just had and he wasnt even projected as a guaranteed first rounder. Boatright will have to play the point if he is going to play in the NBA and from what we have seen so far, he needs to improve his ball handling and decision making.

If Boat and Omar come back, plus if we get a couple of top 50 recruits in 2014 that team could be real special.

It is going to be hard for anyone to average 20 PPG next year...we have too many good returning scorers and only one basketball...but we do have four who can get 20 on any given night and others who will score ten to 15 from time to time.

Boat would be delusional to not stay 4 years.

I'm sure lots of people would have said that about Kemba after his soph season

To win another, duh. Jeez...this guy. Am I right?
yeah, but after going undefeated and every other player goes pro too it's an easy decision.

Why would he want to come back after winning the NC?

Because not everyone is Carmelo Anthony: He got all he could out of college after winning his national championship. Listen to his declaration for the draft. He says it.

I dunno, ask Joakim Noah, Al Horford, and Corey Brewer.

(I know you were speaking rhetorically, but there are guys who have done it.)

How about you let him play his third year before making a statement like that? Lots of guys show huge improvement in the junior year.

There's a big difference between a 6'1'' Kemba and a 5'9" Boat.

Boat and Bazz both have the potential to take over games like Nate Robinson did tonight ...can't wait for next season

How did this thread turn from looking at a twitter conversation between boat and purvis to people hating on boat as usual. The dudes gonna be good this year lets not worry about his decision to go to the NBA way too far away.

I think so too. He will be a good, sometimes great, player. But he is not ready for the NBA no matter what he does this season.

You're probably right. But I bet you had similar thoughts about Kemba Walker and Shabazz Napier after their sophomore years. I know I did.
