He was referring to the loss in 2004. That loss apparently established a perception about him and his program.

I remember the week before the 2011 final four, Gottfried and Dino Gaudio were the main analysts on ESPNU. Watching those guys, you would've thought that that Kentucky team was the 96 Bulls and we were the 2012 Bobcats. That made the semifinal win even sweeter.

I saw that account and that person is ridiculous. He's got to get a life. Rodney has been retweeting a lot of tweets bad mouthing him and he just tweet: Motivation!

people are so crazy. They need to take a step back and realize that someone's life is more important than the simple game of basketball. Watching Kevin Ware go down last night was certainly an awakening to this. I feel so terrible for that kid. To wish something like that upon Rodney because he wants to transfer? Absolutely disgusting.

I hated AO for transfering, but I would have NEVER thought about that.
