So where has his decision to go to NC State "shocked the world" ?

Probably a red herring.

No shock here. He was NCS bound all along but made the detour to UConn to see what it offered. He knows OC and got a chance to see his other competition for playing time. So he stays close to him. He has a great complementary player at NCS but isn't likely going to be part of a rotation. The kid wasn't leading anyone on. He was examining all his options. My belief is we would have landed this kid if OC hadn't already committed or we didn't have RB and Shabazz in the fold.

Who knows why these kids make the decisions they do....I still can't believe Durand Scott went to Miami instead of UConn. Good luck to him, we'll be fine without him
