I'm following the directive not to dredge up old threads (from November 2016).
I had a long discussion with a couple posters about Rodney's improvements at the free throw line back in early December. He was called a mediocre FT shooter at best. Also a lousy one.
I offered that this was true in his Soph year, but that he'd overcome those in his junior season, especially after the first few games. I said that the sample we had from this November 2016 (2 games in which he shot free throws) was too small to judge him on.
I fully expected he would return to shooting well.
Here are the results:
86.4% after the first two games this year.
Since December of 2015, he is shooting 72.6% until today, including his poor start to this year.
This bears out what I was saying in that early thread about the improvement in Rodney's free throw shooting.
