This is great news, this guy worked so hard. Time to keep working tho.

What’s his contract like?

From what I read it would be a 10 day contract. It looks like for an NBA rookie that would pay him $46k. Not bad for a week and a half.

I agree that RP has progressed greatly in the DLeague but it tends to happen if you play with more talented players. No matter what the reason it's great to see RP doing well. Fully agree he is a great guy and a great ambassador for the program. I got to talk to him on several occasions after games and when I saw him on campus during summer. He loved UConn and loves KO
AB on the other hand has not progressed:
avg min played UConn 22.5 GLeague 21.9
FT% .644 .602
Reb 4.5 7.0
Blks 2.8 2.7
Pts 6.7 6.4

Rebounds have improved but not much else
We’d kill for those numbers from our frontcourt.

Ten-day deals are almost always for a prorated portion of the minimum salary, though they can be worth more. A minimum-salary 10-day contract for a rookie this season is worth $46,080, or 10/177ths of the full-season rookie minimum salary. A one-year veteran would earn $74,159. A minimum-salary 10-day deal for any veteran of two or more seasons would represent a cost of $83,129 to the team.

So Rodney is getting $46,080. Emeka's two ten day contracts netted him $166,258.
